1. Activities during the financial year WildHer CIC was established to reduce social isolation and improve women's wellbeing by creating opportunities for community connection, personal development and mutual support. Our work particularly supports women experiencing loneliness, anxiety, financial difficulties and significant life transitions, including menopause, relationship breakdown, bereavement and empty-nest syndrome. During April 2025–March 2026, our principal focus was delivering and completing our National Lottery-funded Her Mind Matters project, alongside maintaining our existing community and providing ongoing opportunities for women to connect. Although we did not actively pursue additional grant funding during this period, our community activities continued, with a strong emphasis on accessible, low-cost and free participation. 2. Communities supported and benefits delivered Our community brings together women from different backgrounds, ages and circumstances, particularly those who may otherwise experience barriers to accessing wellbeing services or social activities. Our activities have included informal community gatherings, outdoor walks, park-based sessions and opportunities for peer support. These activities help women build friendships, develop confidence, access emotional support and establish a sense of belonging. A particularly important part of our work is providing opportunities to participate without financial pressure. Where possible, the Director has personally covered venue hire and refreshments through a separate business, Drops of Jupiter, and volunteered time to ensure that women can continue accessing our community activities. Consequently, some of the community benefit delivered has not resulted in transactions through WildHer CIC's bank account. 3. Projects and programmes Our principal funded project was Her Mind Matters, supported by a £20,000 National Lottery grant. This accredited programme was designed to support women's mental wellbeing, personal development and confidence through structured learning, facilitated sessions and opportunities for connection. The project supported 48 women. Alongside this, we maintained our wider community through informal gatherings, online engagement and peer support. These activities have allowed us to sustain relationships with women who have previously attended our programmes and provide an accessible entry point for new participants. 4. Number of beneficiaries Her Mind Matters directly supported 48 women. We have also continued to develop and maintain our wider community, which currently includes approximately: 80 women in our WhatsApp community. 117 members in our online community. These figures represent our current community reach rather than verified unique beneficiaries during the 2025–2026 financial year, as some participants belong to more than one group. Both communities provide ongoing opportunities for connection, encouragement, shared experiences and information about activities. 5. Achievements and outcomes Our principal achievement during the reporting period was delivering the National Lottery-funded Her Mind Matters programme and supporting 48 women through accredited learning. Beyond the funded programme, we are particularly proud that we have continued to maintain a supportive community without requiring women to pay to participate in every activity. We have sustained relationships, provided informal peer support and created opportunities for women to meet in person, even during periods when grant funding has not been available. This has helped us preserve the community infrastructure established through our funded work and maintain engagement with women who may otherwise experience isolation. 6. Volunteering and community involvement The Director has continued to volunteer time to organise, facilitate and maintain community activities, including informal gatherings, outdoor sessions and online community engagement. In addition, the Director's separate business, Drops of Jupiter, has supported some of these activities by covering costs such as venue hire and refreshments. This has enabled us to continue providing accessible community activities without placing additional financial pressure on the CIC or its participants. 7. Plans for the coming year We are now preparing to enter a new period of development, with a renewed focus on securing funding and expanding our community provision. Our priorities include submitting new grant applications, reintroducing structured workshops and community sessions, and developing sustainable income streams. We also intend to develop a merchandise range to generate additional income that can be reinvested into our community activities. Our longer-term aim is to establish a more sustainable funding model, combining grant-funded programmes, affordable workshops, community fundraising and trading income. This will allow us to provide more consistent opportunities for women to connect, access support and develop new skills, while keeping activities affordable for those experiencing financial hardship. 8. Additional financial context WildHer CIC's bank account does not necessarily reflect the full extent of the community activities undertaken. During periods without active grant funding, the Director has continued to facilitate free community activities and has personally supported some of the associated costs through Drops of Jupiter. WildHer CIC has therefore maintained its community presence and continued delivering social value, despite having relatively limited income and expenditure directly attributable to the CIC.
No consultation with stakeholders
During the financial year ended 31 March 2026, the Directors received payments totalling £7,500 for course facilitation and administrative services provided in connection with the National Lottery-funded Her Mind Matters project. These payments were made against invoices submitted by the Directors for services undertaken in delivering and administering the programme. All payments were made from the allocated project funding and recorded within the CIC's financial records. No salaries were paid to the Directors through PAYE during the financial year.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
