Principal activities of the company

EPIC DREAMS CIC Director’s Report For the financial year ended: [04/02/26] 1. Introduction The director presents this report on the activities of Epic Dreams CIC during the financial year. Epic Dreams CIC is a Community Interest Company committed to delivering creative, cultural and educational projects that benefit the local community. 2. Principal Activity During the financial year, Epic Dreams CIC completed a project focused on documenting and celebrating the Black history of residents in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The project involved producing a book that captures the experiences, memories and contributions of Black residents in the borough. The aim was to preserve local history, celebrate cultural heritage and provide a platform for residents' stories to be recognised and shared. The project supported the company's community objectives by promoting inclusion, cultural awareness and the preservation of local heritage. 3. Funding and Financial Review Epic Dreams CIC received grant funding of £500 from the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham to support the delivery of the Black history book project. The full £500 was spent on the project and its associated costs. No profit was generated from the funding, and the project was delivered for community benefit rather than commercial gain. The funding enabled Epic Dreams CIC to complete its first project and contribute towards preserving and celebrating the history of Black residents within the borough. 4. Community Impact The Black history book project provided an opportunity to document and celebrate the lives and experiences of Black residents in Hammersmith & Fulham. Through this work, Epic Dreams CIC sought to preserve valuable community stories, promote a greater understanding of local Black history and recognise the contributions of residents to the borough's cultural and social heritage. The project represents an important step in the company's commitment to delivering meaningful work that benefits the community. 5. Future Developments Epic Dreams CIC aims to build on the experience gained from this initial project by exploring further creative, cultural and educational opportunities that benefit local residents. Future activities will depend on available funding, resources and suitable opportunities to support the company's community interest objectives. 6. Director's Statement As director of Epic Dreams CIC, I am committed to ensuring that the company uses its resources responsibly and operates for the benefit of the community. The successful completion of the Black history book project marks an important milestone for Epic Dreams CIC. Although the company has completed one project to date, this work demonstrates its commitment to preserving local history, celebrating diversity and giving a voice to community members. I look forward to developing further projects that create positive social and cultural value for residents.

COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

EPIC DREAMS C.I.C.

Year Ending: 28 February 2026

Company activities and impact

Our company’s activities have benefited the community by us facilitating a very thoughtful and helpful project. We gathered information from locals of an area and asked them to share there stories about what it was like growing up in the UK, being a person of colour, things they have learnt, the day to day struggles and there journeys from then until the present day. This was very therapeutic for a lot of the people we interviewed as it gave these individuals a chance to share their story, reflect on the past and pass knowledge down to the future generations. This eventually became a book and is available in Fulham library and Fulham boys school.
