Directors' Remuneration & Directors' Loan Accounts
Since the incorporation of Brighter Beginnings (HW) Limited, the directors and shareholders, Kazim Walji and Manvir Bhogal, have not drawn any salary, wages, or remuneration from the company. The directors have continued to provide services to the company without payment on a full time basis, in order to support the establishment and growth of the business. It is the intention of the directors that any remuneration due in respect of their services be recognised as amounts owing to them by the company and accrued correctly, subject to appropriate accounting treatment and any necessary shareholder and tax approvals. Accordingly, a provision/accrual may be recognised within the financial statements for unpaid directors' remuneration where the directors determine that a present obligation exists and the amount can be measured reliably.
