| Turnover |
| Turnover represents amounts receivable, excluding value added tax, in respect of goods and services provided in the ordinary course of business in relation to the installation and maintenance of satellite communication systems. |
| Turnover in respect of services is recognised when the service has been provided to the customer. |
| Turnover in respect of the sale of goods is recognised when the right to consideration in respect of the sale has been earned and the company has transferred to the buyer the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods. |

| Fixtures and fittings | - |
| Motor vehicles | - |
| Computer equipment | - |
| Tangible fixed assets, other than freehold property, are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation. |

| Taxation |
| Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
