During 2025/2026, Beehive Care CIC has remained fully committed to supporting disabled and disadvantaged children, young people, and adults with additional needs across Slough. Demand for our services has continued to increase, with referrals and requests now extending beyond the borough. Our current provision includes Short Breaks, a structured Youth Group, and tailored one-to-one support. These services are designed to pro-mote independence, social inclusion, emotional well-being, and positive life experiences. In addition to face-to-face provision, we continue to of-fer ongoing advice, reassurance, and signposting through telephone support and social media engagement, ensuring families can access help when they need it most. All organised activities are fully inclusive and accessible and are care-fully planned to meet a wide range of needs and abilities. Our approach ensures that every individual we support can participate meaningfully, feel valued, and achieve positive outcomes within a safe and nurturing environment.
We maintain ongoing consultation and open communication with Slough Borough Council, our staff team, and individuals and families who ac-cess our services. This collaborative approach enables us to regularly review, monitor, and evaluate our provision, ensuring it remains re-sponsive to identified needs, aligned with best practice, and of consist-ently high quality. Feedback gathered through these consultations in-forms service development and supports continuous improvement across all areas of delivery. In addition, we are committed to proactively identifying new and inno-vative ways to support vulnerable individuals within the local communi-ty. This includes exploring opportunities to expand our offer, strengthen partnerships, and address emerging needs as they arise. As of 2024-2025 we were granted funding for a further three-year peri-od, with the potential to extend to five years. The increased financial stability provided continuity of service and enables us to plan sustaina-bly for the future. As a result, we can continue delivering vital support to disabled and disadvantaged children, offering inclusive activities, expe-riences, and trips that many would otherwise not have the opportunity to access. These opportunities play a key role in promoting social inclu-sion, confidence, well-being, and positive life experiences.
