During the financial year ending 31 January 2026, RKLSwims C.I.C. operated as a community-focused swimming school, providing swimming lessons, aquatic education, swimming-related courses and water safety awareness activities to individuals and families across Carmarthenshire. The company's principal aim was to improve access to swimming education, develop water confidence and promote essential water safety skills, particularly among children and young people. The company also provided additional community support and promoted water safety awareness, encouraging safer participation in aquatic activities and supporting the development of confidence, independence and essential life-saving knowledge. Through its activities, RKLSwims contributed to community wellbeing, physical activity and aquatic inclusion, while working towards its longer-term objective of making swimming education and water safety more accessible to the communities it serves.
RKLSwims C.I.C.'s principal stakeholders include swimmers, parents and guardians, swimming teachers, local families and community organisations involved in swimming education and water safety. The company maintained communication with stakeholders through swimming lessons, direct conversations, parent and guardian feedback, and ongoing engagement with individuals accessing its services. Stakeholder feedback helped inform the delivery of swimming programmes, including consideration of individual learning requirements, swimming confidence, accessibility and the suitability of lesson arrangements.
