Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts are prepared under FRS 105 The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime and the historical cost convention. They are not prepared on the going concern basis, because the director intends to place the company into creditors' voluntary liquidation (FRS 105 paragraphs 3.3 and 26.8): assets are stated at no more than their recoverable amounts and every liability is shown as falling due within one year. Turnover is recognised as the services are supplied; what customers had paid for services after the year end is shown in accruals and deferred income (£19,601; 2024: £23,366). No deferred tax is recognised (FRS 105 paragraph 24.7). The comparative balance sheet is restated to correct material errors in the balance sheet at 31 August 2024 as filed (FRS 105 paragraph 8.16), including deferred income omitted at that date; net liabilities as filed £453,856, as restated £474,459. The effects of the errors on each earlier year cannot be determined from the records available, so their cumulative effect is adjusted against reserves at 31 August 2024 and the 2024 profit and loss account is as previously reported.
