    Other accounting policies

Basis of preparation The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and are presented in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Going concern The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. At 31 January 2026 the company had net current liabilities of £21,892, of which £28,290 was due to the directors. The directors have confirmed that they will not seek repayment of these amounts until the company has the resources to do so. The directors have considered the company’s current trading, cash-flow requirements and the availability of continued financial support. On that basis, the directors consider that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and that the going concern basis is appropriate. Deferred tax is recognised in respect of timing differences to the extent required by FRS 102, with deferred tax assets recognised only where recovery is considered probable. Financial instruments Basic financial assets and liabilities are initially recognised at transaction price and subsequently measured in accordance with Section 11 of FRS 102. Short-term debtors and creditors are measured at the undiscounted amount expected to be received or paid where the effect of discounting would be immaterial. Directors’ remuneration and amounts due to directors Directors’ remuneration is recognised in the period in which the entitlement arises. Amounts properly due but unpaid at the reporting date are included within creditors. Payroll taxes and National Insurance are recognised separately where applicable. Mileage and use of home Business mileage undertaken in personally owned vehicles is recognised using HMRC approved mileage rates. An allowance is also recognised for qualifying business use of the home. Amounts properly due but unpaid at the reporting date are included within amounts due to directors.
