We built tablet-friendly operational portals that let field staff instantly pull up session plans, safety checklists and attendance logs during community activities. Through direct outreach to local businesses, we secured 120 hours of pro bono IT cloud setup and quarterly strategic planning support, with two additional firms committed to providing direct sponsorship funds next year. We hosted six weekend roller skating meetups in local parks, engaging over 150 senior residents and pairing them with youth volunteers for shared activity sessions to foster intergenerational connections across the borough. Our team produced printed and digital drill guides for coaches, tested them across 20 weekly practice sessions and integrated them into the upcoming half-term youth camp curriculum.
We regularly consult with local families, roller sport enthusiasts and community partners to gather feedback on our sessions. By listening directly to young participants and local residents, we continually shape our activities to meet community needs, bring people together and make roller sports accessible to more youth across the area.
