Notes to the Financial Accounts

1	General information

The company is a private company limited by share capital, incorporated in England and Wales. The address of its registered office is Peel House, 638 Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, BL1 7AL.

Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime'.

2	Related party transactions

The three directors had overdrawn loan balances at the start of the year of £60, £30 and £10. Total credits of these amounts (respectively) were received during the year, so that the year end balances were all nil. The maximum amounts overdrawn during the year were £60, £30 and £10 (respectively) and this was the same in 2025. No interest has been charged on these loans, and they were all repayable on demand.

Included in creditors is a loan of £550,318 owed to Howarth's Funeral Service Limited, a company wholly-owned by the directors of this company.

3	Staff numbers

The average number of persons employed by the company (including directors) during the year, was 3 (2025 - 3).

These financial accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

For the financial year ending 31 January 2026 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Directors' responsibilities:

•	The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476; and
•	The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
