This Financial year the company has put together numerous concert style shows, bringing in new members of the community at an affordable price. One of those concerts was held at St. George's Church Edgbaston where our members were able to work closely with professional opera singers. This concert raised money for the church itself and helped bring newcomers into the venue. On top of this we performed a large scale production at The Dovehouse Theatre in Solihull 'Rock of Ages'. This was once again set at an affordable membership price for our performers, allowing for individuals with limited financial recourse to be able to perform in a large production. This show also allowed for a production of this scale to be in a local theatre within the Solihull community, bringing various people from the area and beyond into the theatre. A number of our performing members experience mental health challenges and see our rehearsal room and performing as a safe space to help manage these challenges, with support from the production team and other cast members.
