Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
DSG PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LTD is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 08209525 . The registered office is 146 Northdown Road, Cliftonville, Margate, Kent, CT9 2QN.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, modified by the measurement of investment properties at fair value, and in accordance with FRS 102, including Section 1A Small Entities, and the Companies Act 2006.
The financial statements present information about the company as an individual undertaking. The company is exempt from preparing consolidated financial statements under section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006, as it is subject to the small companies regime and the group meets the conditions for exemption.
2.2. Going Concern Disclosure
The directors have not identified any material uncertainties related to events or conditions that may cast significant doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
2.3. Turnover
Turnover comprises rental income and proceeds from the sale of properties held for resale.
Rental income
Rental income from investment properties is recognised on a straight-line basis over the rental period to which it relates.
Property sales
Revenue from the sale of properties held as stock is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership have transferred to the purchaser, normally on legal completion, provided that the revenue and associated costs can be measured reliably and receipt of the consideration is probable.
2.4. Investment Properties
All investment properties are measured at fair value, as determined annually by the directors based on current market rents and yields for comparable properties, adjusted as necessary for differences in location, condition, or other relevant factors. No depreciation is charged on investment properties.
Changes in fair value are recognised in the profit and loss account in accordance with Section 16 of FRS 102. The cumulative revaluation surplus is transferred to a separate non-distributable property reserve, which is ring-fenced and not available for distribution.
Deferred Taxation
Deferred taxation is recognised at each valuation date in accordance with Section 29 of FRS 102. The measurement of deferred tax liabilities and assets reflects the tax consequences that would follow from the manner in which the company expects to recover or settle the carrying amount of its assets and liabilities at the end of the reporting period.
2.5. Stocks and Work in Progress
Stocks comprise properties held for resale and are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value. Cost includes acquisition costs, refurbishment expenditure and other directly attributable costs incurred in bringing each property to its condition at the reporting date. Net realisable value is the estimated selling price less estimated costs of completion and sale.
2.6. Taxation
Income tax expense represents the sum of the tax currently payable and deferred tax.
The tax currently payable is based on taxable profit for the year. Taxable profit differs from profit as reported in the statement of comprehensive income because of items of income or expense that are taxable or deductible in other year and items that are never taxable or deductible. The company's liability for current tax is calculated using tax rates that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the end of the reporting period.
Deferred tax is recognised on timing differences between the carrying amounts of assets and liabilities in the financial statements and the corresponding tax bases used in the computation of taxable profit. Deferred tax liabilities are generally recognised for all taxable timing differences. The carrying amount of deferred tax assets is reviewed at the end of each reporting period and reduced to the extent that it is no longer probable that sufficient taxable profits will be available to allow all or part of the asset to be recovered. This is generally for accelerated capital allowances.
Deferred tax liabilities are presented within provisions for liabilities and deferred tax assets within debtors. The measurement of deferred tax liabilities and asset reflects the tax consequences that would follow from the manner in which the Company expects, at the end of the reporting period, to recover or settle the carrying amount of its assets and liabilities.

Page 5
2.7. Bank loans and finance costs
Bank loans are presented at the contractual amount outstanding less unamortised arrangement fees. Interest is charged to the profit and loss account over the period to which it relates.
Loan arrangement fees, including fees added to the loan balance, are initially deferred and charged to the profit and loss account on a straight-line basis over the term of the related borrowing.
2.8. Investments in subsidiaries
Investments in subsidiary undertakings are measured at cost less any accumulated impairment losses.
2.9. Registrar Filing Requirements
The company has taken advantage of Companies Act 2006 section 444(1) and opted not to file the profit and loss account, directors report, and notes to the financial statements relating to the profit and loss account.
3. Average Number of Employees
The Company had no employees during the financial year.
