Directors' report period ended 31 January 2026

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 January 2026

Principal activities of the company

As a director of The Rockets Children's Motorcycle Display Team, I am proud of the opportunities the club provides for young people, not only through motorcycle riding and public performances but also through the personal development, friendships and life skills gained from being part of the team. Safety, discipline, teamwork and mutual respect are fundamental to everything we do. Through regular training and performances, our members develop confidence, responsibility, commitment and an understanding of the importance of supporting one another. We encourage children of different backgrounds and abilities to challenge themselves, overcome setbacks and achieve their individual potential in a positive and inclusive environment. Our performances at events across the country allow the children to showcase their achievements, entertain thousands of spectators and contribute to community events. Equally important is the dedication of our parents, families, coaches and volunteers, whose commitment makes the club possible and creates a strong sense of community and belonging. We also recognise the importance of encouraging our older and more experienced members to become positive role models, supporting younger riders and helping to pass on the skills, values and experiences they have gained. The Rockets is run for the benefit of its members and the wider community, rather than for private commercial gain. Our focus remains on providing a safe, sustainable and rewarding environment where young people can develop skills and experiences that will benefit them long after their time with the club. Ultimately, I believe our success is measured not simply by the performances we deliver, but by the positive difference we make to the young people who are part of the Rockets."
