South Coast Ballet C.I.C. provided young dancers from Sussex with opportunities to study classical ballet repertoire and perform in a professional theatre production while continuing to train at their own dance schools. Repertoire workshops involved approximately 20 participants. The Nutcracker was staged at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne on 7 December 2025, involving approximately 70 young dancers and an audience of 1,020. The CIC offered a subsidised place and used sponsorship received by the CIC to buy ballet shoes for cast members, reducing costs to families by approximately £20 per dancer. A £100 commercial sponsorship was provided to a former dancer in return for publicity displaying the CIC’s name and logo on social media.
