During the financial year, the company focused on building relationships with schools and colleges by delivering free educational sessions to young people. These sessions enabled us to expand our portfolio, gather valuable feedback from both young people and education professionals, and develop evidence of need and impact to support future funding applications. The sessions centred on healthy relationships, confidence building, and active bystander intervention. Through this work, young people gained a greater understanding of what constitutes healthy and unhealthy behaviours within relationships and social interactions. As a result, participants were better equipped to recognise unacceptable behaviour, establish personal boundaries, and develop the confidence to challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours when they encounter them. By increasing awareness, knowledge, and confidence, the company has contributed to the wellbeing and personal development of young people within the communities it serves. Main changes made: Improved the professional tone, clarified the community benefit, strengthened the link between activities and outcomes, and highlighted how the work supports both young people's wellbeing and the organisation's future sustainability through evidence gathering and funding opportunities.
Yes. The company's key stakeholders include young people who attend our sessions, schools and colleges that host our programmes, teachers and education professionals, and partner organisations with an interest in improving outcomes for young people. Throughout the financial year, we consulted with stakeholders through participant feedback forms, discussions with teaching staff and senior leaders, follow-up conversations with schools and colleges, and informal feedback gathered during and after sessions. This consultation enabled us to better understand the needs of young people and the priorities of education settings. Feedback from stakeholders highlighted the importance of practical, engaging content that helps young people recognise healthy and unhealthy behaviours, build confidence, and safely challenge unacceptable conduct. In response, we refined our session materials, increased the use of real-life scenarios and interactive activities, and expanded our focus on healthy relationships, confidence building, and active bystander intervention. The feedback and evidence gathered from stakeholders have also been used to demonstrate community need and impact, helping the company develop its services and prepare applications for future funding opportunities so that more young people can benefit from the programme.
