2Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and on the accrual basis, in accordance with FRS 105, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime, and the Companies Act 2006. The functional and presentation currency is pounds sterling. The balance sheet is presented in whole pounds. Asset and creditor line totals have been rounded; small presentation differences have been allocated within capital and reserves so the balance sheet adds up. This does not change the underlying ledger, turnover or tax computation. Comparative figures are consistent with the previously filed whole-pound balance sheet.

Other accounting policies
Turnover represents services provided, net of agreed discounts. Foreign currency monetary balances are translated at the closing exchange rate, with exchange differences recognised in profit or loss. A historical Euro bank reconciliation difference of GBP33.41 has been included in current-year other charges. The underlying historical allocation has not been established from the records available to the preparer. No Corporation Tax deduction is claimed for this charge. It is separate from the closing currency revaluation and does not represent a new purchase, cash movement or director-loan repayment. The corrected year-end Euro bank balance is EUR0.08 and agrees to the statement. An existing GBP0.08 debit balance previously netted in creditors is presented within current assets in both periods; this does not change net assets or any tax claim.
