At Neeya CIC, our mission is to empower vulnerable and disadvantaged community members through targeted support services and programs. We believe that with the right help, anyone can overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. One of our primary activities is the provision of a Housing advice and guidance service, working out of the Kensal Resource Centre alongside a dedicated member of the RBKC Housing team. Here we see many people a week and have successfully assisted with form filling, homeless applications, housing appeals, housing disrepair issues as well as supporting young people with housing and substance misuse issues. Neeya has identified that there is a crucial gap in support services for the local community. Neeya addresses the needs of the individuals who often find themselves marginalized and underrepresented. Many residents in the area lack adequate knowledge and understanding of essential service initiatives and requirements. Our Advocacy Advice Service strives to bridge this gap, empowering the community with valuable information and support. Community Learning-Detail programs and classes offered such as ESOL, digital skills, financial education, cultural programs and our very successful sewing group. (If applicable, please just state “A social audit report covering these points is attached”).
Neeya CIC actively engages stakeholders through surveys, focus groups, and community meetings to gather input and feedback on our initiatives. This collaborative approach ensures that our programs are responsive to community needs and priorities.
