2Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 applicable to the micro-entities regime for this accounting period. USD is the functional and presentation currency. These are the company's first accounts and no comparative figures are presented. The company continues to trade and the accounts use the going-concern basis. Figures are presented in whole USD; a USD 1 rounding allocation is made to prepayments so the component figures reconcile to the rounded totals.

Turnover policy
Revenue is recognised for services estimated to have been provided. Unused paid customer credits are deferred using actual net customer payments, reconstructed period-end credit balances and a consistent per-user weighted-price and proportional allocation estimate. The same deferment ratio is used for the small unmatched receipt population. Historical balance resets cannot be fully verified; management has adopted this reasonable estimate.

Other accounting policies
Foreign-currency transactions use reference spot rates or disclosed monthly approximations; monetary balances use closing reference rates. Non-monetary service prepayments retain historical USD cost. Aliyun wallet costs are released on a FIFO basis and fixed-term services are apportioned over their service periods. API funding considered substantially consumed by management is used as an approximation of expense; the small residual balance has not been separately recognised.
