Company activities and impact

Shoot Belfast CIC was formally established Feb 2025. Having acquired rented premises we have with the help of our three directors and volunteers been painting & and refurbishing the premises. As the majority of our income totalling £3700 for the period 25/26 simply covered rent & basic running costs we did manage to acquire some donated basic darkroom and photographic equipment. We recently opened a community gallery which displays work charting the social, cultural and political history of Belfast with an emphasis on the history of both communities. We provided local community & voluntary groups and individuals training workshops and help them produce a series of exhibitions highlighting a variety of community issues. With the support of he Belfast Photography Archive Charity we have started compiling an archive of our ongoing work. Our premises are currently open on a part time basis.
