Reserves policy
The trustees recognise the importance of maintaining sufficient freely available reserves to ensure the continued operation of the charity and to meet its financial commitments as they fall due.

At 31 January 2026, the charity held unrestricted funds of £401,984 (2025: £69,975). The increase principally reflects a fair value gain of £313,960 arising from the revaluation of investment property.

The trustees continue to monitor the charity's cash flow, financial commitments and anticipated income, with the objective of strengthening its available reserves whilst continuing to apply its resources towards its charitable purposes.
