These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

urnover represents income earned from the provision of domiciliary care, supported living, extra care housing, reablement and other health and social care services provided by Verity Healthcare Limited. Turnover is recognised as care and support services are delivered to service users, in accordance with contractual agreements with local authorities, NHS organisations, private clients and other commissioning bodies. angible fixed assets are stated at historical cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided on tangible fixed assets at rates calculated to write off the cost of each asset, less its estimated residual value, over its expected useful economic life. Depreciation is calculated using the straight-line method at the following illustrative annual rates: Computer equipment: 21.33% Office furniture and equipment: 10% Fixtures and fittings: 10% Motor vehicles: 15% Leasehold improvements: Over the shorter of the remaining lease term and estimated useful economic life. Depreciation commences when an asset becomes available for use. The estimated useful lives, residual values and depreciation methods are reviewed where circumstances indicate that changes may be necessary.
