The original financial statements included an overstatement of the corporation tax provision of £11,313, arising from the duplication of corporation tax within the accounting records. This resulted in an understatement of the profit after taxation and retained earnings available for distribution.
Following the correction of the corporation tax provision, the directors have reviewed the dividends and the associated director's loan account balances. The revised financial statements reflect dividends of £39,050, compared with £36,000 originally reported, together with the consequential adjustments to the director's loan account.
As a result of these amendments, the profit after taxation has increased from £36,515 to £47,828, and retained earnings at 31 January 2026 have increased from £515 to £8,778.
The revised financial statements replace the original financial statements and are now the statutory financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 January 2026. All other material accounting figures remain unchanged.
