1. Revision by Replacement

The financial statements for the year ended 31 October 2024 have been revised.

These financial statements:

replace the original financial statements;
are now the statutory financial statements;
have been prepared as at the date of the original financial statements, and not as at the date of the revision and accordingly do not deal with events between those dates.

In the intial accounts, some hire purchase interest was incorrectly put to a liability account on the balance sheet rather than being expensed on the profit and loss.

The entries for corporation tax had also been input incorrectly.

Both of the above issues caused the capital and reserves balance to be incorrect for the year.

Hire purchase interest has been changed to an expense nominal rather than a liability nominal and a correction to the corporation tax has been made.

The above loan is unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand.

5. Accounting Treatment of Government Grant

The company received a clean air zone government grant which went directly to the purchase of the new company hire purchase van that was purchased within the year.

The accounting treatment applied to this grant is to include the grant received as deferred income and this will then be released on a yearly basis over the useful life of the vehicle (lease length) to the statement of profit and loss.

For the year ending 31 October 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The member has not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
