Flock supported two project this year: Queer Natures artist residencies with University of Exeter and the Rivers and Moorland Festival for Dartmoor National Parks Authority with Emergency Exit Arts. Queer Natures provided paid opportunities for 5 LGBTQIA+ artists, 2 of whom led creative workshops with groups of LGBTQIA+ participants that explored their own lived experience and relationship to nature. The Rivers and Dartmoor Festival included paid opportunities for local artists with both small and large commissions (which we directly supported) and two days of community festival activity for the local communities of Ivybridge that had a particular focus on their relationship the natural environment.
