Throughout the financial year, Give Today ,The Hope Revolution CIC has continued to support charities and community organisations across the UK by making it easier for them to receive donations of the specific goods and essential supplies they need. Through our online donation platform, supporters can purchase items directly from a charity's requested list, which Give Today then sources and delivers. This approach ensures donations are relevant, useful and delivered at a time that suits the receiving organisation, helping to reduce waste and the administrative burden on charities. Our activities have supported foodbanks, homelessness services, family support organisations, women's charities and other community groups working with people experiencing hardship and disadvantage. Donations have included food, toiletries, hygiene products, clothing and other essential items, helping these organisations provide practical assistance to people within their communities. In addition to facilitating individual donations, Give Today has supported larger charitable donations and provided procurement services, helping organisations source goods efficiently and make better use of their available funding. The platform remains free for charities to use, removing financial barriers to accessing our services. By taking responsibility for sourcing, purchasing and delivering donated goods, we enable charities to spend less time on administration and more time supporting the people who rely on their services.
A regular meeting has been set up and all stakeholders have been updated with business progress.
The director did not receive a salary directly from Give Today CIC. During the financial year, the CIC engaged a separate limited company controlled by the director to provide marketing and procurement services. Payments were made against invoices for services provided and associated business expenses.
