Chartered Certified Accountant’s Report to the Director for the preparation of the unaudited financial statements
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, I have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Daft Dad Publishing Limited for the year ended 31 January 2026 which comprise the Profit and loss account, Balance sheet and the notes to the financial statements from the company’s accounting records and from information and explanations you have given me.
As a practising member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), I am subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at http://www.accaglobal.com/rulebook.
This report is made solely to the Director of Daft Dad Publishing Limited, in accordance with the terms of my engagement letter. My work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Daft Dad Publishing Limited and state those matters that I have agreed to state to them in this report in accordance with the requirements of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as detailed at https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/ACCA_Global/Technical/fact/tf-163-jan-24.pdf. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Daft Dad Publishing Limited and its Director for my work, or for this report.
It is your duty to ensure that Daft Dad Publishing Limited has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory accounts that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and loss of Daft Dad Publishing Limited. You consider that Daft Dad Publishing Limited is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year.
I have not been instructed to carry out an audit or a review of the accounts of Daft Dad Publishing Limited. For this reason, I have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to me and I do not, therefore, express any opinion on the statutory financial statements.

4 Trading status and Future Developments
The company ceased trading on 1st February 2025. Following the cessation of trade, the directors intend to apply for the company to be voluntarily struck off and dissolved via Form DS01 at Companies House. For this reason, the financial statements have been prepared on a non-going concern basis.
The company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies for the year ended 31 January 2026.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges their responsibilities to comply with the Companies Act 2006 in respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
