During the financial year, Global Peace Education Center CIC continued its work in peace education, learning, research and community development. The CIC was represented at conferences and forums, where it contributed to discussions and exchanged ideas with people working in areas related to peace, education, governance and social development. The CIC also supported university students through online internship opportunities. These gave students practical experience and guidance in research, writing and exploring international and community issues. The experience helped them develop their skills and gain exposure to the work of a peace-focused organisation. The CIC’s research and knowledge-sharing activities focused on peace, education, social sciences and humanities, cultural understanding and community wellbeing. These activities supported learning and discussion among students, educators, young people and other community members. A major event during the year was the Global Peace Hospitality Summit & Awards 2025, held on 9 October 2025 at Hyatt Regency Dubai, in partnership with Impact Hub, UAE. The summit brought together people from the hospitality sector for discussion and exchange, while the awards recognised contributions to the sector. The event encouraged dialogue, knowledge-sharing and connections among participants. During the year, the CIC also applied to register GLOBAL PEACE INSTITUTE and GOLDEN WING OF PEACE as UK trade marks in Class 41, covering education and related services. This supported clear recognition of the CIC’s programmes and activities.
The CIC’s stakeholders included learners and university interns, educators and trainers, women and young people, community members, conference participants, hospitality professionals and partner organisations, including Impact Hub, UAE. We consulted stakeholders through direct conversations, online communications, mentoring and internship discussions, and engagement with participants and partners through our programmes and events. Feedback and discussions helped us understand learners’ needs and interests. In response, the CIC continued to provide accessible online learning and student support, and shaped its educational and research activities around peace, leadership, digital skills and community development. The Global Peace Hospitality Summit & Awards also provided an opportunity for dialogue and exchange with stakeholders in the hospitality sector.
