During the financial year, Living Connections CIC continued to provide companionship on a one-to-one basis, bereavement counselling, community-based activities and outreach support designed to bring people together, encourage social interaction and promote wellbeing. The company organised and supported community groups, providing opportunities for individuals to meet others, build relationships and participate in activities within a welcoming and supportive environment, while reducing isolation. Living Connections CIC also arranged seasonal activities, including Easter and Christmas celebrations, to encourage community involvement and provide opportunities for people to enjoy shared experiences. Resources were used to support these activities, including refreshments, replacement equipment, and first aid training, including suicide first aid and mental health first aid, to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment. These activities benefited the community by encouraging inclusion, reducing social isolation, promoting positive relationships and providing opportunities for people to participate in community life.
Living Connections CIC regularly consults people who attend its community groups through informal discussions. Participants are encouraged to share their views about the activities they enjoy, suggest new ideas, and express what they would like to see offered. Feedback from participants helps shape the activities and events organised by the company. This includes arranging joint community celebrations that bring people from different groups together, encouraging friendships, social interaction and a greater sense of community. This ongoing consultation helps Living Connections CIC ensure that its activities reflect the wishes and interests of the people who benefit from its services.
The directors do not receive remuneration for carrying out their statutory duties as directors of Living Connections CIC. Both directors separately provide professional services to the company, including one-to-one companionship and support for clients, and the delivery of community group activities. These services are invoiced based on hours worked. During the financial year ending 31 January 2026, the total payments recorded to the directors were £46,842.99, comprising £22,968.00 and £23,874.99 respectively. These amounts include payments for professional services together with associated mileage and reimbursement of expenses incurred in delivering those services.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
