Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention in accordance with FRS 105 and the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006. Property held for long-term letting is carried at cost, including directly attributable conversion costs, less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation begins when the property is available for its intended use. The property remained under conversion at 31 January 2026 and no depreciation has been charged.

Supplier charges are recognised for the period to which they relate. Reasonable time allocations have been used where bills cross the year end and no year-end meter reading is available.

The 2025 comparative figures have been restated: property cost of GBP66,414 has been reclassified from current to fixed assets; reconstructed E.ON supplier liabilities of GBP1,721.55, water prepayments of GBP62.24 and separately identified cash of GBP3.41 have been recognised, with corresponding adjustments to opening reserves. The E.ON reconstruction uses corrected supplier transactions and subsequent settlements, excluding charges after 31 January 2025. Figures are presented in whole pounds; rounding differences have been included in reserves.
