Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Pleo ReachOut Organisation CIC has delivered significant positive impact to the community by promoting social inclusion, providing vital respite for caregivers, and creating empowering platforms for individuals with additional needs and their families. This was achieved through several key initiatives: * Ability Matters Conference: Held in March, this event brought together over 100 attendees to discuss accessibility, empowerment, and support networks, foster knowledge-sharing, and strengthen community ties. * Mothers' Respite Lunch: We hosted a dedicated respite lunch for 20 mothers caring for individuals with additional needs, offering them a much-needed break, emotional support, and a chance to connect with peers facing similar challenges. * Ability Summer Fest: This inclusive event supported approximately 40 families and children, providing a safe, accessible, and joyful environment for children to play and families to build community connections. * Pleo Fundraising Awards and Gala Night: Attended by over 100 people, this flagship event celebrated community achievements, raised vital funds to sustain our projects, and heightened local awareness of our mission. * Carers Jumper Hangout: Building on our past success, this targeted initiative engaged 50 attendees, reducing isolation among caregivers by providing a warm, informal space to share experiences and access mutual support. Through these combined activities, the CIC has directly supported hundreds of individuals, reduced social isolation, empowered caregivers, and fostered a more inclusive, resilient community

Consultation with stakeholders

PLEO Reachout Organisation CIC engages with its stake holders people who support the organisation, event participants, and families and unpaid carers, including those supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. During the year, the organisation held awareness events, cancer fundraising activities, carer support events and awards celebrations. These provided opportunities to hear participants’ views, discuss support needs and receive feedback on the organisation’s activities. Feedback on the events has been positive. This engagement helps the organisation understand the needs of the communities it serves and informs the planning of future activities.
