Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
Outsidr Ltd is a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales (company number 16224090). These are the company's first financial statements, covering the period from incorporation on 3 February 2025 to 28 February 2026. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention in accordance with FRS 105 The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime and the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006. They are presented in pounds sterling. Going concern: at 28 February 2026 the company had net liabilities of £10,077, mainly because of the loan from its director. The director has confirmed that he will not seek repayment of his loan until the company can afford it and that he will continue to support the company. The financial statements have therefore been prepared on a going concern basis. Intangible assets: the company's app, which was bought in from external developers, is recognised as an intangible asset (software) at cost less accumulated amortisation and accumulated impairment losses. Amortisation is charged on a straight-line basis over three years, starting when the asset is available for use. The app became available for use in March 2026, after the period end, so no amortisation has been charged in this period. Where there is an indication that an asset may be impaired, its carrying amount is reduced to its estimated recoverable amount and the impairment loss is recognised in profit or loss.
