During the financial year, RAZOM CIC supported Ukrainian refugees and the wider Ukrainian community in Oxfordshire by organising cultural, educational, social and wellbeing activities aimed at promoting integration, reducing social isolation and strengthening connections with British society. The company’s activities included family events, art workshops, Ukrainian cultural celebrations, Mavka Fest, Ukrainian poetry evenings, music and choir performances, dance classes, yoga and Pilates sessions, and community gatherings. RAZOM also organised events celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day, Christmas and Ukrainian cultural heritage, as well as activities commemorating the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine. These activities provided welcoming and inclusive spaces where Ukrainian families could meet, develop friendships, maintain their cultural identity and feel part of the local community. They also created opportunities for British residents and people of other nationalities to learn about Ukrainian traditions, participate in shared activities and develop mutual understanding. Many events were organised and supported by unpaid Ukrainian and British volunteers, encouraging community participation, cooperation and cultural exchange. Through these activities, RAZOM CIC contributed to community cohesion, social inclusion, wellbeing and the successful integration of Ukrainians into life in Oxfordshire.
