During the financial year, Forcer Protocol CIC has continued its commitment to improving the safety, welfare and protection of serving Armed Forces personnel, reservists and military veterans across the United Kingdom. The company's primary community benefit is the development and promotion of The Forcer Protocol, a safeguarding initiative designed to help police locate vulnerable veterans and serving personnel more quickly and safely when they go missing or are at risk. The initiative enables veterans, serving personnel, reservists, their families and carers to record important information in advance, including medical needs, mental health vulnerabilities, personal circumstances, known locations and trusted contacts. In the event that an individual goes missing, this information can help police officers respond more effectively, make informed decisions and identify appropriate support services. Throughout the financial year, the company has worked to raise awareness of the protocol, encourage police force adoption and strengthen relationships with policing organisations, veterans' groups, support services and the wider Armed Forces community. The company has also contributed to improving understanding of the challenges faced by veterans, particularly those experiencing post-traumatic stress, depression, isolation and difficulties transitioning from military to civilian life. By promoting early intervention, awareness and compassionate safeguarding, the initiative aims to reduce the risk of harm, prevent avoidable tragedies and provide reassurance to families and loved ones. An important benefit to the community is that the protocol brings together families, carers, police officers and veteran support organisations around a shared approach to protecting vulnerable individuals. It helps ensure that people who have served their country are not overlooked when they are most in need of assistance. The company continues to work towards wider national adoption of the protocol so that more veterans, serving personnel and reservists can benefit from this additional safeguarding measure, regardless of where they live in the UK. Forcer Protocol CIC exists for the benefit of the community rather than private gain. Its work is driven by the belief that those who have served our country deserve understanding, dignity, protection and access to appropriate support when they need it most. The company remains committed to developing this work, expanding awareness and building partnerships to deliver lasting social benefit to the Armed Forces community and their families.
