Service charges monies collected by the Company are held on trust for the purposes of meeting the relevant costs of maintaining and managing the property in accordance with the provisions of Section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. The Company acts as a trustee in respect of these funds.

The income and expenditure arising from these transactions are shown in separate service charge accounts for the property. These transactions are excluded from the Company's statutory financial statements, as the service charge funds are held on trust and are not the Company's own funds.
