During the financial year, the CIC has benefited the community by providing support to individuals who may be experiencing housing difficulties or require assistance in securing and maintaining suitable accommodation. The CIC's purpose is to provide additional support and protection for individuals who do not have a tenancy agreement directly with a landlord or who may otherwise struggle to access accommodation independently. Through its activities, the CIC helps ensure that vulnerable individuals are not left without appropriate housing support. Where individuals hold their own tenancy agreements directly with landlords, the CIC can keep its support services separate from the tenancy arrangements. However, where individuals do not have a tenancy in their own name, the CIC can provide the necessary support and assistance to help address this gap. Overall, the CIC aims to promote housing stability, support individuals in need and contribute positively to the local community by helping people access and maintain suitable accommodation while ensuring that its service provision remains clearly defined and separate from tenancy arrangements.
