Notes to the Financial Statements

for the Period Ended 28 February 2026

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Turnover policy

Turnover is the fair value of consideration received or receivable for goods and services supplied in the ordinary course of business, excluding value added tax and other sales taxes. Revenue from services is recognised when the service is delivered. Revenue from software licences is recognised when the licence is delivered; refunds are deducted when made. The company is not registered for VAT.

Intangible fixed assets and amortisation policy

Trade marks are stated at cost less accumulated amortisation. Amortisation is charged on a straight-line basis over ten years, with a full year's charge in the year of acquisition.

Other accounting policies

Basis of preparation. The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention. Going concern. At 28 February 2026, the company had net liabilities of £1,012 and is funded by an unsecured, interest-free loan from its director of £1,662. The director has confirmed in writing an intention to provide additional director's loans of up to £5,000 over the next three years for approved development projects and operating expenditure, and to defer repayment of the director's loans until the company holds at least £150,000 in cash from trading receipts and repayment leaves it able to meet its other liabilities. A cash-flow forecast for the twelve months from approval shows funding needs within that commitment. The financial statements are therefore prepared on a going concern basis. Financial instruments. The company has only basic financial instruments. Cash, debtors and creditors, including the loan from the director, are measured at the undiscounted amount of cash receivable or payable. Foreign currencies. Transactions in foreign currencies are recorded at the sterling amount debited or credited to the company's bank account, which is the rate ruling at the date of the transaction. Taxation. Current tax is recognised on the taxable profit for the period at rates enacted at the balance sheet date. No tax charge arises for the period. A deferred tax asset in respect of trading losses carried forward is not recognised, because their recovery against future taxable profits is not yet sufficiently certain.
