During the year ending 31 March 2026, Reveal You C.I.C. worked on developing its neurodiversity support offer for children, young people, adults, parents, carers and professionals, with a focus on ADHD, autism and dyslexia. Activities included preparing and refining information about pre-assessments, coaching, training, workshops and practical support, including parent-coaching leaflets and website messaging. This work supported the company’s community purpose of helping people understand their needs, recognise their strengths and identify practical next steps. The intended community benefit is to improve understanding of neurodivergence and help individuals and families access appropriate support, particularly where needs have previously gone unrecognised. Pre-assessment is intended to inform understanding and next steps rather than provide a formal diagnosis.
The company's stakeholders include children and young people, adult service users, parents and carers, school staff and other professionals involved in their support. Teachers and support staff at the Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Freshwater & Yarmouth were consulted through feedback questionnaires following the training session. The questionnaires asked about learning, intended classroom strategies, confidence, further support needs, overall quality and suggestions. Responses highlighted learning about masking and executive function. Feedback also identified a need for more practical classroom strategies and primary-school case studies, small-group discussion, interactive materials and follow-up resources. Some respondents felt the content and tone were better suited to parents than experienced school staff and asked for greater recognition of teachers' existing knowledge and classroom challenges. The feedback was collated and analysed to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This review identified priorities for future training design: tailoring content to school staff, strengthening classroom examples and practical resources, and increasing participation. These are findings from the feedback review; implementation of subsequent course changes is not reported here.
