The company organises an annual cycling event which brings together members of our cycling community from different parts of the world to take part in order to raise awareness and educate about, as well as raising funds for refugee communities in the Middle East, with a particular focus on children and Palestinian refugee communities. In the financial year to which the report relates, we mobilised 100 cyclists and their supporters to become active and join their local C4G cycling chapter in various cities. This mobilisation gets people active, both physically and as connected members of their local communities and across borders with other communities, to serve the greater good. The collective efforts of all C4G Cycling community members, including volunteers who help organise, members who contribute in other ways, and participants came together in the C4G2025 Cycle Event which took place in Spain and which raised over £830,000 in donation\ to the UK charity Ajyal Foundation for Education. These funds have been employed to support refugee communities displaced by war and conflict in a multitude of ways. We attach the Impact Report for details of how the funds raised benefitted the community they were intended for.
The company stakeholders are the volunteers who help organise the activities of the company, members of the C4G cycling community (who are individuals who have taken part in one of C4G’s fundraising cycling events), as well as the charity that C4G partners with in order to raise funds for refugee communities they support. In the period relating to the report, there have been several consultations with the various stakeholders. These consultations include holding regular online calls where stakeholders are invited to attend where we gauge interest in future activities, receive feedback about previous events and activities and give stakeholders an opportunity to bring their own questions, ideas and initiatives to the organising team to help shape how C4G Cycling continues to engage with the community, how we organise and run the fundraising cycling events, and what the stakeholders would like to see that C4G is not currently doing. In addition to online calls, we also use polls, surveys and forms to get meaningful input from the stakeholders to inform and shape what we do and how we do it.
The accounts indicate that an amount of £774.20 was received into the Director’s Account. This amount was reimbursement for expenses incurred by the Director during a ‘Research Trip’ to Spain to ensure that everything was in place for the upcoming annual cycling event that took place at the end of September 2025 in Northern Spain.
