Significant accounting policies
Statement of compliance
These financial statements have been prepared in compliance with FRS 105 The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.
Basis of preparation
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Companies Act 2006 and FRS 105, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime. The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis and under the historical cost convention. The presentation currency is pounds sterling.
Workplace pension
The company contributes to a defined contribution workplace pension scheme. Employer contributions are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. Contributions outstanding at the year end are included in creditors falling due within one year.
Going concern basis
The director has assessed the companys ability to continue as a going concern for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. The assessment took account of the companys trading performance, available cash, forecast operating cash flows and the timing of payments to creditors, including Corporation Tax.
At 30 June 2026, the company was owed £141,546 by related companies. The director considers these balances recoverable in full. The loans to Isaac Wholesale Ltd, Red Lion Bicker Ltd and Laser 99 Ltd have no fixed repayment dates. The cash-flow forecast supports the companys ability to meet its liabilities as they fall due without relying on repayments from these three companies during the assessment period.
On this basis, the director has a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence. The financial statements have therefore been prepared on a going concern basis.
Turnover
Revenue from self-storage services is recognised over the period for which the storage is provided. Payments received in advance are included in creditors until the related services are provided
Deferred taxation
Deferred tax is provided in full in respect of taxation deferred by timing differences between the treatment of certain items for taxation and accounting purposes. The deferred tax balance has not been discounted.
Tangible fixed assets
Tangible fixed assets, other than freehold land, are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation and any provision for impairment. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation of fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following basis:
| Plant and Machinery |
20% Reducing Balance
|
| Fixtures and Fittings |
20% Reducing Balance
|
| Computer Equipment |

Provisions
Provisions are recognised when the company has a present obligation as a result of a past event which it is more probable than not will result in an outflow of economic benefits that can be reasonably estimated.
