2Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

The company owns the Freehold of the property known as Hadlow Court, which comprises 6 Long Leasehold properties.

Other accounting policies
The company acts as the Trustee of the Hadlow Court Service Charge Trust Fund. This is a statutory trust fund held in accordance with s.42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.

The Income & Expenditure and Assets & Liabilities of the trust fund are separate from those of the company and are reflected in the Service Charge accounts.
