1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Cambrian Price Properties Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.

Turnover
Income is derived from the rental of freehold properties and is recognised on an accruals basis. Certain freehold properties have an option to tax for Value Added Tax, however turnover is shown in the profit and loss net of Value Added Tax.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.
Plant and machinery etc - 25% on reducing balance

Investment property
Investment property is included at fair value . Gains are recognised in the income statement . Deferred taxation is provided on these gains at the rate expected to apply when the property is sold .

8. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

The company was under the control of its directors throughout the current and previous year.
The directors of the company are directors of B.S & R.Price (Properties) Limited who owns 40% of the share capital of Cambrian Price Properties Limited. The amount owed to B.S & R.Price (Properties) Limited as at the year end was £500,000 (2024: £600,000).

Dividends paid during the year totalled £17,000 .

9. ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY

The company is ultimately controlled by the directors Miss M Price, Mrs A Gostage and Mrs J Wedley by virtue of their majority share holding in Cambrian Price Properties Limited and B.S. & R.Price (Properties) Limited.
