Company activities and impact

Wiltshire Wood Recycling diverts wood from landfill by collecting surplus wood from building sites and other commercial outlets. It then sells the wood at affordable prices to trade and the public by way of firewood products and wood for use in other ways. We benefit the community by acquiring wood at lower prices that others and passing on savings to consumers. We also provide work opportunities to those out of work and seeking work experience, retraining skills and volunteering.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are our company members and the communities we service. We consult with them via monthly newsletters, regular staff meetings and an Annual General Meeting which is open for all to attend. In addition, we have a website, twitter to communicate to the wider community.
